Jess and Joel's apartment has a bird's eye view over the school courtyard. this snap gives a great depiction of the school building the courtyard, the nearby apartment block, and on the distant hill is the zoo. Yes! A zoo! All I can say is, I hope that the animals are OK with the weather.
Behind the school building is a stone wall that was part of the fortification of the original city.
Despite the somewhat bleak exterior of the school, I have been told that it is warm and quite colourful inside. The canteen is on the bottom floor. Sometimes, whilst at school, Jess waves out to Joel who sits at the breakfast bar by the window.
Here is my school, here in Gap. It is only five years old. There are 3 main blocks. It is two storeys high. It seems to embrace a "boxy" architectural style. This is the front entrance. How does this compare with your "local" school?
I'm loving the ever-present mountain, Charance, in the background. It constantly changing mood is a welcome vista on a daily basis. |
