Cultural stereotypes abound everywhere. I can assure you chère readers, I haven't seen anyone in France, yet, that looks like this.

Last night I made a Boeuf Bourgignon.

Marthe and Hervé told me that they rarely, if ever, eat this "typically french" dish. 

They were also a bit surprised: it is a winter dish!
